The Raymond J. Cook Annual Golf and Tennis Outing, September 19, 2016
Our 2016 outing was a great success! Please check back for next year’s event details.

goHeld at the lovely Old Westbury Golf & Country Club, this annual event hosts 200 businessmen and women.

The day includes breakfast, lunch on the course, and cocktails and culminates in a sumptuous dinner, live auction, and exciting raffle that are a lighthearted ending to an amazing day of golf and tennis.

Top sponsorship levels include a foursome, preferred tee off, and promotion on signage.

The Junior Outreach Committee, made up of young professionals in their 20s and 30s, and the Asian Outreach Committee organize this yearly evening soiree. Offering an open bar and a D.J., this event attracts a fun young crowd starting their weekend early.


Student Showcases
Spring Deadline: March 31, 2017 / Fall Deadline: September 29, 2017

ss1Each spring and winter, our afterschool programs offer a showcase of students’ artwork, musical and dramatic performances, and school projects that is open to parents, political officials, and the community.

The attendance at all of the showcases is a total of 1,400-1,500 people.

As a top sponsor of the Spring Showcase, you would be listed on all invitations and promotional materials sent to parents, politicians, and community groups, listed on all signage at the event, and given an opportunity to speak from the podium at the event.


Wine Tasting

wtThe Asian Outreach Committee, consisting of young professionals of Asian descent, organizes this lively evening event to promote our Asian Outreach Program. This unique program provides bilingual therapy (in 11 diverse Asian languages), community education, and school-site counseling to help children and families cope with the stresses and challenges of immigration and acculturation to family life.


Head Start Moving Up Ceremonies–every August
Deadline: July 

hsmuOur Head Start programs for 3- and 4-year-olds prepare children from low-income families to enter kindergarten ready and excited to learn. We do this by enhancing their cognitive, social, and emotional development and engaging parents in the process.

In August, we celebrate the transition of our 280 students from Head Start to kindergarten in each of our classrooms with special presentations by the children and a luncheon with the families.

As a top sponsor of these events, your name would be listed on our invitations, flyers, programs, and signs. You would also have the opportunity to address the parents at the events.

Dodgeball Tournament–November 2016
Deadline: October 14, 2016

DBtOrganized by our Junior Outreach Committee of young professionals, this event draws adult teams from throughout Manhattan to engage their inner child in a fundraiser to benefit the children we serve.

What are you and your employees doing for the year-end holidays this year?

For 250 children from low-income families, our annual holiday party will be the high point of the season. We begin the festivities with an early dinner, then move on to a dance party and games, face painting, balloon animals, and a visit from Santa Claus, who gives each child a gift.
