The Child Center of NY is pleased to announce that the agency’s chief operating officer, Jaime Angarita, has been selected as a New York Nonprofit Media 40 Under 40 Rising Stars honoree for outstanding work in the nonprofit sector.
For the third year, NYN Media is recognizing 40 of New York’s rising stars in the nonprofit world who are under the age of 40, have made great strides in their careers, and hold the promise of a bright future. All have already made what every nonprofit strives to make: an impact.
The award will be presented at a celebratory breakfast reception on Wednesday, July 19, at The Capital Grille in downtown Manhattan.
“We are thrilled that Jaime has been selected for this prestigious award,” said Child Center CEO Traci Donnelly. “After having spent nearly 10 years in the private financial industry, Jaime came to The Child Center with a fresh eye and different perspective that led to the agency operating more efficiently and innovatively from the get-go. He has the right mix of heart and business – and our children, families, and communities are better off for it.”
Jaime Angarita joined The Child Center of NY in May 2016. He came to us from a global consulting firm, where a nonprofit client introduced him to the social impact sector.
“I feel incredibly blessed, honored, and humbled to join past recipients of this award, whom I greatly admire,” Angarita said. “I am constantly in awe of the many accomplishments and successes of our agency, and I am grateful to NYN Media for shining a spotlight on how much good the social impact sector can achieve.”
