At The Child Center of NY, we are proud to stand with our veterans and their families. We strive to honor their service with our own — through programs that support their mental health, strengthen families, and help them build the bright futures they deserve.
We have many staff and clients who are serving, have served, or have loved ones who have served. Our client Christie is one of them. Christie is a client of The Child Center’s Military Services and Macari Perinatal Intensive Outpatient Program (P-IOP).
Military Services, launched in 2023, is dedicated to ensuring that current and former members (regardless of discharge) of the military and their families receive the high-quality, holistic care they deserve so they can achieve their vision of what they want their lives to be. Since we know their commitment is shared by their entire family, we also support their children and other family members. Our goal is to provide military service members and their loved ones a safe and therapeutic place where they can optimize their mental health and overall wellness in a military-focused environment.
The special space you see in the above photo was finished just in time for Veterans Day. As we close out the month, we recommit ourselves to being a place where military families feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
